15-th STCU Field Officers Meeting

On 5 April, 2016 in the framework of the events related to celebration of the 20th STCU Anniversary the 15th Field Office Managers Meeting was held in Kiev, Ukraine. The Meeting joined the STCU Field Officers: Dr. Gulam Babayev (Azerbaijan), Dr. Akaki Peikrishvili (Georgia), Dr. Alfreda Rosca (Moldova), Dr. Vlada Pashynska (Ukraine, Kharkiv STCU Field Office) and the STCU Managers and Kiev Office staff: STCU Executive Director Mr. Curtis Bjelajac, Senior Deputy Executive Director Dr. Igor Lytvynov, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Anthony Nichol and Senior Specialist Mrs. Nataliya Dudko.
The STCU Managers informed the staff working in the Regions about the current STCU state and future working prospects including the new tendency of the STCU involvement in CBRN security related projects along with the traditional R&D projects. The open fruitful discussion about the situation in the STCU Regions and exchange of views about the peculiarities of the STCU activities and projects implementation on the places took place. During the Meeting the experienced STCU staff welcomed the new member of the STCU team – Dr. Gulam Babaev, who just started to work in the STCU Field Office in Baku (Azerbaijan), and explained to him the STCU projects life-cycle and project coordination procedures.
