ISTC-STCU Working Group Meeting on Intellectual Property Rights

On September 15, specialists on intellectual property rights (IPR) from the STCU met with representatives from the governments of Canada, the European Union, Japan, Russia and the United States at the International Science & Technology Center (ISTC) offices in Moscow. This was the second meeting of this IPR Working Group at the ISTC and the first one which included the participation of STCU representatives. The meeting's participants agreed to pursue a new approach to formulating IPR policies and procedures at each science center and on how best to coordinate these efforts. Mr. Ogura, ISTC Deputy Executive Director, chaired the one-day meeting.
